Real Wedding at The Carriage House
Rebecca and Isaac - The Carriage House - August 20, 2021
REBECCA AND ISAAC WERE THE ABSOLUTE SWEETEST TO WORK WITH FROM BEGINNING TO END! CHECK OUT SOME OF THEIR AMAZING MOMENTS OF THEIR WEDDING DAY BELOW!
True story. The month before Rebecca and Isaac’s big day, I had given birth to my daughter. Going back to weddings after 7 weeks postpartum was a little intimidating, but I was so thankful for their big day being the day that I returned because they were honestly the best about it! When I say I have the best couples, I seriously do mean it!
Details
Fun fact - their centerpieces were made by them! They made each one by hand a spritzed it with some essential oils, which made it smell AMAZINGGG. At the end of the night, they let guests take one home. There were a couple of extras left over after guests headed home, so I even took one home to give to my mom! She still has it and absolutely loves it!
Getting ready
Throughout the whole morning, Becca and Isaac were as chill as could be. Their wedding party was ready to celebrate with them and there was a joy in the air that was so palpable. You could feel the excitement as the time drew closer to the ceremony!
First looks
If you follow me over on Instagram, you know that I’m a huge lover of a first look! When you throw in a first look with your girls, a first look with dad that includes a special gift, and a first look with your partner with love letters/vows being read? *Cue the tears*
Ceremony
Something that I love that Rebecca and Isaac did for their ceremony was they decided to switch sides! They wanted their parents to see their faces as they said “I do”, so their parents sat in their traditional sides and Becca and Isaac stood on opposite sides from their parents. I always love when couples decide to break tradition this way!
Pause for a quick wedding tip: This is also a great hack if you have a good side ;) Traditionally, a bride’s right profile will show for pictures and a groom’s left profile will show for pictures. If your good side is the opposite don’t be afraid to switch it up! Wanna switch it up, but also want your parents to see your face throughout the ceremony? You can always switch the side your parents are sitting on to accomplish this! Don’t be afraid to mix things up a little.
Wedding party
Becca and Isaac had such a fun wedding party that was genuinely invested in making sure they felt celebrated and loved on their big day. They were extremely sweet and helpful, but also trusted us when we said we had it, which is always a plus!
Couples pictures
Becca and Isaac took a few minutes out of their reception after the ate to unbustle that dress and head outside for some of the sweetest sunset pictures ever. I could swoon over these all day long!
Reception
When it came time for the reception, they were so ready to party, and their loved ones were ready to celebrate them finally becoming one! It was such a fun night!
