Elopement
So, I’ll be honest.
I’M KIND OF REALLY PICKY ABOUT THE STYLED SHOOTS I DO BECAUSE THERE’S SO MUCH WORK THAT GOES INTO MAKING SURE THAT IT’S ABSOLUTELY PERFECT AND THAT IT CAPTURES EVERY ASPECT OF THE VISION YOU HAVE. THIS STYLED SHOOT WAS PUT TOGETHER BY MAXYNE LEANNE PHOTOGRAPHY, AND SHE ASKED ME TO COME IN ON THE DAY OF TO HELP OUT. AND LET ME TELL Y’ALL - I’M SO GLAD SHE ASKED ME TO! MAXYNE HAS BECOME SUCH A DEAR FRIEND OF MINE, AND WHAT SHE CREATED WAS SO BEYOND BEAUTIFUL. THIS WAS ONE OF MY FIRST EXPERIENCES WITH A STYLED SHOOT AND IT DEFINITELY SET THE BAR PRETTY HIGH!
The cake
I’m pretty sure that one of my favorite things about doing styled shoots is when the baker makes REALLLLL cake. Like, YUM! Am I right or am I right?! I may or may not have a major sweet tooth, and it may or may not be a problem for my waistline. Especially with all the delish caramel! Shout out to Dulcet Bake Shoppe for making our bellies super happy!
The hair and makeup
Simple Beauty Artistry created the perfect glam look with some glitter eyeshadow and some bright lipstick that complimented Monica’s hair so. dang. well. I so wish I could pull off that bright of lipstick! And don’t even get me started on how much I’m in love with that perfect braid! Dreams!
The Florals
Piney Rose Floral came in for the kill on this shoot. I mean, this girl, y’all. She incorporated some of my all time favorite flowers and even threw in some real berries just to make it over the top extra. If I were a bouquet, I would actually want to be this one because it has some serious spunk and character to it!
The Styling
Swell Styling is well….really swell! They helped bring this vision of a sweet, intimate picnic after the ceremony to life. And if I’m being real, I totally think that more couples need to incorporate a private little picnic into their big day somehow or other! And can we all take a moment to appreciate the blue pillows? And that SCROLL. Sage Scripted created the most beautiful scroll ever and I’m forever obsessed!
The Details
I’ll admit something. I may not post too many details on my IG & FB pages, but I have a deep appreciation for some good detail pieces. That envelope liner? YASS. That necklace? Literally giving me life as we speak. Eros Stationery and Styled by Markie created some beautiful pieces for this shoot and really helped to tie everything together with a pretty bow on top!
