Big Fake Wedding
This was definitely an experience.
I had never been a part of something like this before, and it turned out so. Cool. If you haven’t heard about the big fake wedding yet, it’s such a neat concept. It’s like an open house, but throw in a real vow renewal into it. Creatives get to showcase their talent and a sweet couple gets to have a beautiful vow renewal to cherish forever. It’s pretty legit! Catering, dancing, the whole shabang.
The dress
I’m a huge sucker for a good dress. I’m pretty sure that this one was literally MADE for her! The lace + the tulle makes for the dreamiest dress! And I’m loving the fact that she chose to showcase her tattoo!
The venue
The Meekermark is one of my favorite venues to coordinate at. If you’re not familiar with it, here’s a fun fact for you: it was actually built by photographers. So, needless to say, there’s tons of beautiful picture ops! From the bridal suite, to the chapel, straight down to the cutest front barn doors ever. Literally perfection!
The First look
You may have seen on my social media, buuuuuut I’m kind of a huge fan of first looks. Like…a huge fan. The Meekermark has a beautiful enclosed area leading out from the bridal suite that makes for a perfect opportunity for a private first look!
The wedding party
I’m also a huge fan of a small, fun wedding party. This wedding party brought it big time with all the laughs and shenanigans! A wedding party can play a huge part in the mood of the big day, so choose them wisely!
the grand exit
I was put in charge of two things specifically - the rehearsal and the grand exit. Y’all. I love a flower exit. Whether that’s during the ceremony, or during the actual grand exit, flower petals make for some seriously amazing pictures!
